Details for this action: Immediately following the next meeting, weather-permitting, MNGI Chair, Ed McNally will head up a brief tour and then lead us all in some winter pruning of the Forest Farm. He will demonstrate proper pruning techniques for anyone not already familiar and will have some extra tools available for use. Please bring your own garden/work gloves and feel free to bring any sharp, clean (to prevent disease spread) pruning tools you may like to use. Dress for the weather and bring your own hydration. Thank you for considering helping out this day in the Forest Farm, a volunteer demonstration garden that hopes to serve as an educational resource to the community as it continues to develop with the community's help.

Hello All, I am happy to reschedule our action in the Forest Farm for the next meeting that takes place at the Marshall Library. I will just need to know a date and time in advance in order to coordinate with the Marshall Native Gardens Initiative (MNGI). Also, to follow up from the last meeting, I said I would inquire about future availability of the MagicTown Yoga Studio. Allison Welder had this response: Hello Rachell- Ya'll are welcome to use the room again...maybe no shoes in the studio this time...there was a lot of mud around after last meeting. I'd also be more comfortable if you or someone that I know could be the contact point for key exchange and responsibility for the room before/after meeting. Thank you for asking and I'm so pleased that the group seems strong with passionate people. Please let me know how to proceed. All love. ❤ ~Rachell CC: www.facebook.com/groups/300704083412931/www.facebook.com/groups/1775901266010011/madcan.boards.net/

Action in the MNGI Forest Farm will happen this Saturday, January 28 immediately following the next meeting. The meeting ends at 12noon and that is when our action will begin. It will be a short tour led by MNGI Chair, Ed McNally and will also include a pruning demo and action in the Forest Farm. To join us, please bring your questions, garden gloves and sharp, clean pruners if you have them!

Yes, I am looking forward to giving everyone interested a tour of the Marshall Native Gardens after the meeting... Also, I am looking forward to assisting Bobbi in getting inputs from the group about the mission of the group through a strategic planning process that will take most of the meeting... Should be lots of fun.
